SUCCESS STORY OF KESHAV MITTAL; NEET AIR 7

No Distractions, Pure Determination: Keshav Mittal’s Road to NEET AIR 7

In a year when over 22.7 lakh students appeared for NEET UG 2025, Keshav Mittal rose above the noise to secure All India Rank 7. But his journey wasn’t built on shortcuts or overnight miracles. It was a story of strategy, self-discipline, and saying ‘no’ to distractions, not dreams.

A Clear Vision from Early Days

Long before NEET became the focal point, Keshav was already chasing excellence. He had competed in national-level science Olympiads like the Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO), an early testament to his love for science and analytical thinking. By the time he reached Class 10, his plan was crystal clear: earn a seat at one of India’s top medical colleges.

The Unconventional Strategy: Simplicity Over Hype

Unlike many aspirants who get caught up in brand names, he attended regular classes at one platform and supplemented his preparation with test series from others. The focus was never the label—it was the quality of practice and clarity of concepts.

No Social Media, No Cricket, No Excuses

What truly set Keshav apart was his refusal to compromise focus. While friends might have been scrolling through Instagram, watching IPL matches, or attending family functions, Keshav stuck to a strict routine. Social media? Logged out. Cricket? Tuned out. Family events? Skipped.

His mantra was simple: remove distractions to make room for direction.

The Power of Mock Tests and the Error Sheet

Central to Keshav’s prep was an unwavering commitment to mock tests.

Weekly exams weren’t just assessment tools—they were training grounds

Every mistake went into his “error sheet,” and every error became an opportunity to improve. “Don’t get discouraged by low scores,” he emphasizes. “Use them to find your weak spots and fix them.”

A Word to Future Aspirants

With AIIMS Delhi likely to be his next home, Keshav is now taking a well-earned breather. His message to others is inspiring in its simplicity: Stay focused. Be honest in your efforts. And don’t let temporary setbacks cloud your long-term vision.

NEET-UG2025: CANDIDATES VOICE STRONG OBJECTIONS OVER EXAM PAPER ERRORS

NEET-UG 2025, conducted on May 4, took place under heightened security protocols implemented by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with state authorities. Despite these measures, students and their guardians have voiced significant concerns regarding errors in the question paper and delays in addressing grievances. They are urging the National Testing Agency (NTA) to take swift action. The results are expected to be announced later this month. NEET-UG continues to be the primary entrance exam for over 20 lakh aspirants seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programs.

Candidates in Sikar, Gujarat encountered issues with faulty booklets containing disordered page numbers. In Sikar, students with Paper Code 47 reported that the pages were not in sequence. A similar issue affected Gujarati-medium candidates in Jamnagar, Gujarat, who had Paper Code 48. The misplaced pages led to confusion—some candidates mistakenly darkened the wrong answer circles, while others struggled to match questions correctly, losing valuable exam time in the process.

Following the exam, guardians formally lodged complaints with the Gujarat government and NTA, supported by scanned copies of the erroneous booklets. "Students pointed out the issue during the test but were instructed to continue with the faulty paper," a parent stated. A state official confirmed receiving these complaints.

Meanwhile, NTA has refrained from commenting on the Sikar case, citing ongoing legal proceedings.
