NEET CONSELLING PROCEDURE

NEET COUNSELLING PROCEDURE

The NEET 2025 exam has concluded, and its results are expected to be announced soon.  According to previous trends and official updates from the National Testing Agency (NTA), the results are expected to be released on or around JUNE 14, 2025, approximately 40 days after the exam date.  These results hold significant importance for students aspiring to secure admission in medical courses such as MBBS and BAMS.

NTA will declare the NEET results on official websites, including exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, neet.ntaonline.in, and nta.ac.in.  The results will be published in the form of All India Rank (AIR), NEET percentile scores, and merit lists.  Additionally, the NTA will announce the NEET cutoff scores, enabling candidates to assess their performance compared to around 23 lakh test takers.

For general category students, the expected cutoff range is 720 – 155 marks.  Based on the merit lists, state counselling authorities and the Directorate General of Health Services will oversee the NEET state-level and All India Quota (AIQ) counselling.  Historically, the results are declared within 30-40 days after the NEET exam, while counselling rounds typically commence between late July and August.  Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria will be eligible to secure seats during the NEET counselling process.
